Hand Tools

Hand tools is the largest section we publish, because a ship is maintained by hand: spanners and wrenches in every pattern and size, hammers and mallets, pliers and cutters, screwdrivers, files and chisels, hacksaws, pullers, hydraulic jacks, ladders, oil cans and grease guns. It includes the non-sparking tools in aluminium bronze and beryllium copper that tankers carry for work in hazardous spaces. The chief engineer raises most of it, the chief officer the deck kit.

Sizes and materials are in the IMPA description, so the code quotes correctly; say if a maker (Bahco, Stanley) is required.
