Sell bunkers and fresh water where the enquiry finds you
Bunker and water requirements posted at your ports come straight to you — structured, dated, with terms visible — and your offer stays sealed.
The situation
Physical supply runs on traders’ books and old relationships; a barge operator or water boat without the network sells through middlemen who own the customer. Enquiries that do come direct arrive half-specified and get shopped to everyone in the harbour.
Here the requirement is posted once, structured — product, quantity, port or anchorage, dates, payment terms — and every activated supplier at that port answers sealed. The operator compares deliverable offers; nobody trades on your number.
How it works for you
01
Verify your company
Trade licence and supporting documents, reviewed by a human — verification is what lets requirements route to you.
02
Activate your supply ports
Port-by-port coverage, including anchorage trades. Only requirements at your activated ports reach you.
03
Answer sealed
Quantity, spec and terms are on the requisition before you price. Your offer is sealed — no shopping, no last-look games.
04
Deliver and document
Award, delivery, signed proof — a record both sides hold identically if quantity or quality is ever disputed.
What you pay — and don’t
Free to start; plans priced on the pricing page
—Registration, verification and the entry tier are free.
—Tiered plans (port allowance, commission) are published live on the pricing page — no figures hidden in a sales call.
—Uncovered ports are open ground: be the first bunker or water supplier in and take the port’s requests uncontested.
Where this runs
An empty port is an asset here: the first supplier to activate a port gets its requests uncontested.
Questions suppliers ask
- How do I get bunker enquiries without cold-calling operators?
- Enquiries route by geography, not by phonebook: activate the ports and anchorages you physically serve and every bunker or fresh water requirement posted there reaches you — specification, quantity and payment terms stated before you price.
- How do I become a bunker supplier on GeoMarineHub?
- Register free with your work email, pass verification (trade licence and supporting documents, reviewed by a human), then activate your delivery locations. Verification is what lets requirements route to you — unverified accounts receive nothing.
- How do RFQs reach me?
- You are matched on two facts you set: the ports you activate and the categories you cover. When a vessel posts a requirement at one of your ports in one of your categories it lands in your portal queue and you are notified, with the vessel type, ETA, payment terms and the full line list. Port-call bidding closes at the vessel’s ETA — the deadline is on the request.
- What does supplier verification ask for?
- Three documents, uploaded in the portal and reviewed by a person: your trade licence, an ID for the company’s signatory and a proof of address. You can set up your company, categories and ports before approval; bidding opens once the company is verified, so every supplier a buyer meets is a vetted business.
- What does it cost a supplier to join GeoMarineHub?
- Registration and verification are free, and the Free tier gives the service you register with one activated port. Paid plans are bought per service for a fixed prepaid term; they add ports and lower the commission rate. Commission is charged only on completed orders — bidding and losing cost nothing. Every current figure is on the pricing page, read live from the platform.
- Do I need a password?
- No. Sign-in is by e-mail only: enter your work e-mail and a six-digit code is sent to it. The same account works on the web and in the free GeoMarineHub app for iPhone and Android.
