The checks you'd run on us, answered in one place
Before a shipping company trusts a vendor it asks who verifies the counterparties, who can see its data, and what happens in a dispute. This page answers those questions the way the platform actually enforces them.
Nothing here is aspirational: each claim describes a check the server runs today. What we don’t claim, we don’t have — there is no certification badge on this page because we’d rather show you mechanisms than logos.

Counterparties
Who you meet here, and how we know
Verification is the platform’s gatekeeping — explicit, and enforced by the server, not by policy documents.
- 01
Suppliers pass company verification before their first bid reaches any buyer: trade licence, ownership and bank details, reviewed by a person.
- 02
Chartering is verified on both sides — no offer moves in either direction until the company behind it passes verification.
- 03
Duplicate-company signals — matching trade-licence or tax numbers are blocked outright; similar names and shared networks are flagged for human review, never auto-judged.
- 04
Ratings attach to completed, documented orders — a supplier’s record here is built from delivery proof, not testimonials.
Sealed bidding
What competitors can and cannot see
The blindness is structural: the data is never sent to the people who must not see it.
- 01
Until award, requester and bidder identities are mutually hidden — suppliers see vessel type, ETA, terms and lines, never a name.
- 02
No bidder can see another bidder’s numbers, or how many rivals are bidding. Bids are compared per canonical unit by the buyer alone.
- 03
In chartering negotiation, contact details are blocked in messages until conclusion — the filter rejects and tells you exactly what matched, and repeated leak attempts are escalated to a human.
- 04
Identities open only when business concludes: on award, or on a concluded fixture.
Data isolation
Your data is yours alone
Tenancy is not a setting — it is how every query is written, and it is tested continuously.
Every resource on the platform — requests, bids, orders, chat, documents, invoices, negotiations — is scoped to your company on the server. Client-supplied identifiers are always resolved through company-scoped queries, and the platform runs an automated cross-tenant probe suite against every release: dozens of deliberate attempts to read or act on another company’s data, every one of which must be refused for the build to pass.
Records
History nobody can rewrite
When there is a dispute, the record settles it — so the record has to be beyond both parties’ reach.
- 01
Order histories are append-only and actor-stamped: every status change, note and document carries who and when. Neither side can edit the past.
- 02
Delivery requires documentary proof — a photo, delivery note or signed receipt — before an order can complete.
- 03
Chartering negotiations keep an append-only event history: every offer, counter, message and decision, preserved in order.
- 04
Consultancy engagements carry the same dated, actor-stamped record from brief to deliverable.
Access
Accounts, sessions and sign-in
No passwords means nothing to phish, reuse or leak from somewhere else.
- 01
Sign-in is by one-time email code only — there is no password to steal. Codes expire in minutes and are rate-limited.
- 02
Every device session is listed in your portal with device and location; you can revoke any session, or all of them, at any time.
- 03
Team members get role-scoped permissions — a viewer cannot price, a buyer cannot manage the team — and deactivating a member ends their access immediately.
Money
Commercial mechanics you can audit
The commercial model is on the pricing page in full — this is where its records live.
Plans are prepaid for a fixed term; commission is charged only on completed business, and every invoice and monthly statement is in your wallet. Prices on the pricing page come from the platform’s own plan data — the same figures the billing engine uses. All platform business is in USD, and renewal never costs you paid days: an early renewal starts when your current term ends.
