Cleaning material and chemicals covers the ship’s consumable chemistry: general and galley detergents, degreasers for the engine room, tank and hold cleaning chemicals, rust removers, disinfectants and sanitisers, air fresheners, and the cloths, sponges and refuse sacks that go with them. Engine-room chemicals are raised by the chief engineer, accommodation and galley items by the chief steward, and cargo-hold cleaners by the chief officer.

They quote by the can, drum or litre. Name the maker where a product is already in use, and check the safety data sheet requirement on the requirement.
