Clothing

Clothing is the working wardrobe of the ship: boiler suits and coveralls, safety shoes and boots, rain and cold-weather gear, working gloves, caps, and officers’ uniform items. It is raised by the chief officer or master ahead of a crew change or when a season turns, and sized to a crew list.

Sizes are the whole difficulty. Give the size breakdown per item on the requirement — how many of each — and whether a flag or company standard applies to safety footwear (steel toe, antistatic, oil-resistant sole), so that suppliers bid the right specification.
