Service line 07 · Opening soon

Consultancy

Marine and logistics expertise — surveys, claims, registration, compliance — at a platform-set price per engagement.

Not yet open on GeoMarineHub. Nothing on this page can be used today. Register your interest below and you’ll be notified the day this line opens.

Consultancy engagements are not yet open for self-service. The full flow — brief in, platform price back, acceptance, deliverables — is built and tested behind the scenes; what remains before opening is live payment processing, since consultancy is paid per engagement. Register your interest with the engagement type you need — and if a matter is urgent, the contact page reaches a person in Dubai today.

Process

From brief to deliverable

This is how the desk will run once open — four steps, one counterparty, and the price fixed before you commit to anything.

  • 01

You submit a brief: the engagement area and the facts of the matter, in your own words.

  • 02

The platform prices the engagement — one fixed customer price, set before you commit. No hourly-rate roulette, no scope-creep invoices.

  • 03

You accept the price; the platform sources and manages the expert. You deal with one counterparty throughout — the platform, not a roster of consultants.

  • 04

The engagement completes with its deliverable, and the record stays alongside your other platform activity.

Inputs & outputs

What you provide, and what comes back

In: the engagement area, the brief, and the documents that define the matter — a charter party to review, a survey scope, a claim file. Back: a fixed quoted price; on acceptance, the engagement runs to a defined deliverable — a report, an opinion, a completed registration, a claims position — held in your engagement record.

Qualification

How the experts are qualified

You never pick from a roster — the platform sources the expert and answers for the work.

  • 01

Consultants are engaged and paid by the platform — the platform carries the client relationship and stands behind the deliverable.

  • 02

Expertise is matched per engagement area; a claims matter does not go to a stability specialist.

  • 03

Consultants build a record of completed engagements the platform can stand on — customers never chase an individual.

Documentation

What paperwork comes out

The priced engagement record, the accepted terms, and the deliverable itself — report, survey, opinion, or filing — retained in your account. Where an engagement produces registry or class paperwork, the originals follow the issuing body’s process; the platform record tracks it.

Trade practice

Standard practice, changed where it deserved it

Consultancy pricing is opaque almost everywhere — hourly meters and estimates that double. Here the price is fixed before you commit: the platform quotes the engagement, pays the expert separately, and earns the margin between them. No subscription; you pay per engagement, and only for engagements you accept.
