WATER MONITOR MOBILE 1000LTR/MIN, MSC/SOLAS APPROVED

The SOLAS (SOLAS II-2/10 7.3) amendments requires the following additional firefighting systems for ships designed to carry container on or above the weather deck, and keel laid on or after 1 January 2016. In addition to SOLAS amendment, MSC.1/Circ.1472 was also approved to set design and performance standards of a mobile water monitor. It is water discharge device of portable type, consisting of inlet fitting, monitor water way, swivel fitting, discharge nozzle and a shut-off device. Highly maneuverable, operating like hand line nozzles while delivering much more wear. Simple to set up for quick attack operations, and can be left unmanned at the fire scene to conserve manpower. Horizontal range of 0 degree from 250 degree, and vertical swivel range of 0 degree from 90 degree. Ground spikes at the base is resistant to long-term wear and provide excellent ground stability.
